During the winter of 2020/2021 amid the Covid-19 lockdown, I was the co-Student Director of Pepperdine University's dance company, Dance In Flight with Erinn Heffes. Together we decided to continue Dance In Flight despite the restrictions put on us by being remote. We conceptualized DIF's first-ever documentary, hosted auditions via Zoom, cast choreographers and dancers, taught dances via Zoom, coordinated costumes and deliveries across the world, wrote interview questions, and worked with a video editor and producer to bring the film to life.

The documentary focuses on the human experience during isolation and the long-awaited return to the outdoors. The dancers were challenged to dance in different outdoor locations and given various improvisation prompts to provide us with enough material, alongside the choreography and interview questions, to create a 1hr long film entitled RAW.
